The MQ-2 Gas Sensor Module is a gas detection sensor used to detect LPG, propane, methane, hydrogen, smoke, and other combustible gases. It is widely used with Arduino Uno R3 and other microcontrollers for gas leakage monitoring.

The MQ-2 Gas Sensor Module is designed to detect the presence of combustible gases and smoke in the surrounding environment. It contains a sensitive gas-sensing element whose resistance changes when exposed to gas.

The module provides both:

Analog Output (AO) for measuring gas concentration
Digital Output (DO) for gas detection threshold indication

An onboard potentiometer allows adjustment of the detection sensitivity. It is commonly used in gas leakage alarms, fire detection systems, and safety monitoring projects.
